Tempered glass thickness range is 0.15mm to 1.0mm.
First we need to know If the item where the glass protector will be applied on is a touch screen or not. If it’s for touch screen protector, glass thickness is better less than 0.40mm. Otherwise, the screen touch sensitivity would be influence.
Customers have options of 0.15mm, 0.20mm, 0.25mm, 0.33mm and 0.40mm. Generally speaking, the thinner, the more expensive. Among the 5 options, 0.33mm is the universal option with both nice performance and adorable pricing. But it also depends on the customized case application, we have some customers appointed 0.15mm due to the consideration of physical design of the product. This is also understandable.
Some customers want glass only with no adhesive glue is needed. Or the glass protector is not for touch screen. In this situation, the thickness options is wider. Besides the above, there are 0.55mm, 0.60mm, 0.70mm, 0.82mm, 0.90mm etc options. Firstall CNC machines can deal with maximum 1.5mm glass. The thicker glass, the stronger. At the same time, the cost will be different. Not only it’s because of material cost difference, but also long processing time for thicker glass.
